Smeather’s is owned and operated by Heather Seibel.
While in middle school Heather purchased a cake decorating
set with money given to her by her grandmother. Since
then, Heather has been creating cakes for family and
friends. As more and more people discovered her talent,
she began expanding her knowledge of techniques through
reading, television shows and formal training by well-respected
industry experts.
In 2003, Heather officially opened Smeather’s and
has been designing cakes of all types for families
and businesses in the Northern Virginia, Washington
D.C. and Maryland areas. Her love for cake decorating
and her dedication to the art of cake design will
ensure that your custom cake and special event will
be given the detail and perfectionism you deserve.
